I am just coming in from checking the trails, trails are looking very good. We plan to retrack sunset, Hautannen highlands in the morning and do a bit of touch up on the skate lanes… we have about 82 k groomed and open….wolf tracks is in rough condition but open and the puumala trails are closed…hope to open this weekend.
Thursday 5 Am
We have a crew of 5 groomers heading out this morning. We will be grooming the new 2-4 inches of snow that fell yesterday afternoon and last night.stayed tune for final report at 10 am. 10 am update. We groomed 75 k this morning and set set track on about 60 k, Puumala is packed to freeze it down, we will check it on Friday or Saturday.

WEDNESDAY 12 noon,
we picked up 2 inches of snow overnight and then another 3-4 this morning. Groomers are back we groomed about 75 km, everything is open except Puumala , we will try to get it open this week . Yes we have been setting tracks.

Tuesday 7:30 pm
the new snow groomed in well,
we have 4 groomers coming in the early am to regroom . Looks like a great week ahead for skiing. It is lightly snowing now, 3 inches forecast overnight.
Tuesday 10 AM
groomers are back, we groomed all the main trails this morning after we got about an inch or less of new snow last night. The trails groomed up well and the bit of fresh snow in the trails should ski well. It is continuing to snow.
