We had great skiing again today, we retracked 65 km of trail and groomed 75 km of skate lanes. We should have excellent skiing until otherwise reported.
Sunday 6;15 pm
we had a great day of skiing with the new lake effect snow. We received about 2 inches last night and the 4 groomers headed out early this morning.we groomed 71 km including setting all new tracks, the Bully’s mixed the old snow and new for a great surface. It continued to snow during the grooming process and the skiing hours. We will be bullying again in the am…
6 inches of new snow.
Tuesday night 5 pm, we groomed 73 km this am and skiing was perfect. The woods are very pretty w snow hanging on the trees. The Pisten bullies are heading back out tonight and early morning to widen and firm up trails. We had 60 second graders skiing today and 9 FE students this afternoon……Clydesdales meet Wednesday at 4 pm. There are 6 spots left in the grooming clinic for next Tuesday.
Tuesday 8;30 pm
skiing was highly rated today, mainly w the warmer temps. Hi of 15 today!
we are grooming all 75 km as needed,we groomed about 40 km today and we groomed the SISU trailinto town. The trails are in great shape including the SISU trail. We have a full crew in the early am getting the trails groomed…2 inches of new snow so far tonight..
Saturday 7 pm
We received about 6 inches of dense cold snow during the day today. Groomers were out early this morning and kept grooming throughout the day. The bully’s are in the barn and ready to go again early in the am. The warm up shacks will be warm. There are 4 now, 1 at the trail head and 3 out on the trail. Jason Park, boards bump and Sulo loop , and memory and jack pine by the river house…Bring a snack and warm up.
