Wednesday 7 PM

The snow started about 4:00 AM, I woke up to any empty snow gauge but saw the flakes coming down. I started grooming at 6:00 AM and continued untill 9:30 or so. I concentrated on the combi trails close to home with the 9 foot groomer. I groomed 31 km of trails this morning with skate lanes and classic tracks. Skiers coming at noon had 2-3 inches on the grooming.

We have a full crew of 4 groomers coming in the AM .

Tuesday 7 PM

Early morning, Crasher had the PB out grooming up Tamarack, Ridge Runner, the Highlands, DeerTrail and some of the Dog trails. Pig Heart , Partner and Wully Bully headed out on the Woodward Trail pre-grooming for the Saturday Foundation Event. Skiing has been super with mild temps in the 20’s, sunshine, firm trails and fresh snow on the trees like a Christmas Card.

Monday 7 PM

Wow, woke up to another inch or 2 of snowfall., must have been lake effect. With only 3 groomers we picked grooming the old ABR and all the classic only. Widetrack on the classics and Pig Heart and Partner in the Bully. We groomed up 50-55 km of the 95 km.

We have a groom team scheduled for the early AM we plan to groom south to the Highlands with Tamarack 2 track and Ridge Runner. Touch up as needed on the others

Puumala Trails skiing …very remote , very scenic and very well groomed.

Many classic skiers miss this 9 k option….check it out.

Sunday 4 PM

We had the full crew out this morning grooming 94 KM of trails and resetting tracks. It lightly snowed all day and was great skiing with the warmer temps in the high teens. We plan to groom again in the AM including all single tracks and some of the combination trails. The ungroomed trails will have an inch of fluff on them.

Dominick and Jess enjpying first tracks on Pelty this morning!

Saturday 6:30 PM

Pig Heart and Crasher groomed up all the combination trails this morning 6-9 AM, they turn ed out quite well and skied well. As the morning went on the winds and new snow started to accumulate and make skiing more exercise than glide but still enjoyed by many skiers.

Pig Heart and Crasher will have the Pisten Bullies out taking care of the Combination trails and Wide Track and Partner will take care of all the single tracks in the morning.
