Wednesday 7 PM

No grooming today, the trails groomed yesterday were skiing well this morning. Winds kicked up about 11 AM and skiing was fine in the woods but was drifted in the open areas.

Wide Track is heading out in the AM to regroom all classics and Pig Heart is taking the PB out to regroom some combi trails. Expect about 50-60 km of regroomed trails like yesterday. Ridge Runner is going back to skate grooming Friday or Saturday.

Tuesday 6 PM

It was chilly morning with -10 F at 6 AM when Pig Heart and Crasher went out. Crasher groomed most of the classic only except Otter Slide and Puumala Trails. Pig Heart was in the larger of the Pisten Bullies and groomed the main trails with a few shortcuts. (Pelty, Bards, Meadow and the Dog Trails were left with 1-2 inches of powder. Honey Badger took care of the Pink Cabin Trail and serviced the cabins. Temps climbed to 1 above but with no wind and the sun out we had skiers, but mostly in the afternoon.

Monday 6 PM

We picked up about 1 inch of snow overnight so I started grooming this morning and as the snow started heavy, I headed back to the barn with the Bully. We picked up about 2-3 inches of cold dry dense powder. We will have 2 groomers out early AM to have some of the 95 km of trails ready for skiing at 9 AM.
