Thursday 6 PM

What a great day of grooming with the full crew. We showed up early to set up the new Polaris Titan 4 stroke for grooming. After an hour of coffee and set up the groomer crew headed out to tackle the snow event. We used Both Pisten Bullies and 3 sleds. The new Titan worked well for pulling the lighter groomers, after the engine is broke in we will see how it does with the heavy lifting! the same 5 will be back out Friday early morning to polish things up! Don’t forget to order your lunch from the Suffolk Eatery before 5 PM Friday.

Thursday 11 am

5 groomers are just coming in from a shift taking care of 90 km of trails that received about 5 inches of new snow.

we will have a full crew out again early morning.

Wednesday 6 PM

We woke up to a dusting of snow, but we did have the full groom crew scheduled so we regroomed 88 km of trails this morning to widen and firm them up after the 10 inches of snow from last night. Both Pisten Bullies did a great job on tilling and resetting tracks and the 2 snowmobile groomers did a great job resetting firm tracks on the classic only trails.

Snow Cross, our new recruit (1/2 the age of our youngest groomer Pig Heart) did a great job setting tracks again today He set the cabin up at 6 AM, set track for 4 hours, worked the ski shop and then headed out to test his tracks at 4 PM!
