Thursday 6 pm

45 km of combination (skate and classic) trails were groomed up this morning with 3 of us, the trails turned out very good. We plan to regroom, the main trails including the Highlands and dog trails across the road tommorow but we do not plan on regrooming classic tracks until it cools and we get another inch or 2. Classic only trails are skiable but the classic tracks on the combi trails are much better. Hemlock downhill to River and Wolf Tracks are open but not as snow covered as others. 5 groomers scheduled for the early am, I am still expecting good conditions based on the base we have and forecast for the next 3-4 days

Dec 24th Tuesday 4 pm

We had a great day of skiing today with 45 km of fresh grooming and 27 degrees. We don’t like to have employees work on Christmas but we did have a groomer volunteer to groom with me tomorrow, Christmas Day. The skiing has been very good with the exception of Hemlock downhill and wolf tracks cedar swamp, we are 100% open with 92 km of trails.

the Saturday forecast has warming temps and a chance of rain. With my 30 years of experience grooming and running a touring center, I predict the snow base will soften slightly but it will not melt away. I expect skiable conditions to remain skiable for the next 2-3 weeks based on forecasts.

Monday 10 am

4 groomers just came in. We set new classic track on 18 k of combi trails, Blueberry and Highlands and we groomed 45 k of skating, the wide trails are in very good condition.
