ABR Trails

Great “early season” skiing today, it was great to see us skiing on Thanksgiving Weekend!

we groomed about 78 km of trails this morning. The trails are starting to level out close to the trailhead. The other trails to the south need more snow but we are grooming them to freeze them down. We had many happy skiers today. The 32 km that are close to home have been skiing well….for early season. The others will open for skiing soon, looks like a positive forecast. I asked for some pictures today on the trail, so I am just sending the grooming picture. If you ski and take a picture email or better yet text me 906-364-3502.

5 groomers put in a full shift today, packing and rolling about 66 k . We plan to open about 32 k tomorrow Saturday at 9 am. Depending on how much additional snow we get and how it grooms up we expect early season conditions, leave the race skis at home. Not expecting to set tracks just cordoroy.

we have about 40 k packed so far, we are heading back out to the south next.

6 inches of new snow overnight, crew of 6 working on getting the trails ready for skiing .

we hope to be open for skiing Saturday tommorow, more updates during the day.

we packed some more trail today and the temps are cooperating. We had light flurries all day but now, as forecast , the snow is really coming down. 5 groomers coming in tommorow, we still hope to open for skiing Saturday. The ski shop is open Friday 10-2 with the sale still going on.
