I turned 63 today and I had one of the best Birthdays ever! I turned off my alarm last night and slept in till 5:30 am, chatted with the groomer team Snow Cross and Crasher, they groomed most of the combi trails and PB groomed Tammarack 2 track and Ridge Runner with the PB. Ridge Runner is groomed for classic and skate, we will leave it for a while, looking for feedback from the skiers. We had the entire team of 8 groomers come in for a formal Foundation meeting and coffee and a group video and picture on snow. Video coming on Foundation website or social media soon. Then Pizza lunch with the groomer team and Foundation Board members.

Friday we plan to regroom some classic only and do touch up grooming as needed with Pisten Bully 1 or 2.

This is a picture of our dedicated grooming team, they all are planning on working next year for the Foundation. I feel so blessed working with this dedicated crew!

Crasher is out grooming Tamarack 2 track with the Pisten Bully, it looks mint! Crasher also groomed Ridge runner with e the Pisten Bully again this morning, he groomed it like the Highlands, classic right and skate left….check it out….skate or classic.

Interesting day again and great skiing.

, -15 at 5 am, groomers Pisten Bullied most of “OLD ABR” tracks are rock solid and skate lanes were buffed out with the Bully. The skier traffic was quiet until temps got above minus, then the parking lot got busy.

Ridge Runner has been classic only the last few days, please ski it and give your feedback, it has been toned down to intermediate ability and not expert. Respond with an email, in person or text w comments. We plan to leave classic for a few more days.

Great news to hear the Birkie is going full course to Hayward!

It has been cold, highs in the single digits but with the sun it felt decent today, most skiers arrived at mid day and they were pleased with the trails. 2-3 groomers heading out tomorrow to groom.

Hilltop is open this weekend. Maybe Rockfence cabin?

skiing was great today, cool at 10 degrees but no wind and sun….skiers were happy. Groomers took the morning of because we could not improve the firm tracks and skate lanes from the Sunday mega grooming.
